The legal basis for the system of taking back and recycling old batteries and storage batteries is the ordinance on handling batteries and storage batteries as well as the ordinance on environmental pollution charges through the production of old electrical equipment.
On this basis the law transfers the responsibility and recycling obligation for old batteries and storage batteries to all players on the market: the manufacturers and importers, sellers as well as final consumers.
The companies can hereby transfer their obligations with respect to the old batteries and storage batteries to Interseroh. Interseroh has established a system for the collection, reuse and recycling of old batteries and storage batteries in Slovenia that is based on the long-standing experience in other countries of the Interseroh Group.
Collection points with corresponding containers are set up in offices and shops. The containers are marked so that the final consumer knows exactly where they have to put their old batteries and storage batteries. Posters and information leaflets for final consumers are also available at the collection points and contain information on the importance of the collection and recycling of old batteries. When the collection containers are full we take care of their removal, the reuse and recycling of the old batteries that have been collected. At the same time we also take care of your other statutory obligations.
