We are producing high-quality recycled materials from waste wood that are used in the timber processing industry (material recovery) or in biomass power plants (energy recovery).
Waste wood recycling and trade
Our wood offices in Berlin, Bückeburg and Worms are certified waste management companies for the collection and processing of all waste wood categories AI – AIV (hazardous waste) according to the Altholzverordnung (German Waste Wood Ordinance).
Acceptance of waste wood material
We can accept and recycle the following categories of waste wood:

| AI (AVV 150103) | Untreated or only mechanically processed waste wood that has only been slightly contaminated with foreign substances during use. Examples: pallets, crates, furniture, etc. of untreated solid timber |
| AII (AVV 030104, 170201) | Glued, primed, coated, painted or otherwise treated wood without halogen-organic compounds in the coating (e.g. PVC) and without a wood preservative. Examples: Furniture wood from veneered chipboards, construction timber (construction chipboards, shuttering boards), etc. |
| AIII (AVV 200138) | Waste wood with halogen-organic compounds in the coating without a wood-preservative Examples: Pallets with compound materials, PVC-coated furniture wood |
| AIV - Hazardous waste (AVV 170204*, 191206*) | Waste wood treated with wood-preservatives that cannot be classified as AI, AII or AIII waste wood on account of its contamination. Examples: railway sleepers, telephone poles, window wood |
| Tree branches and trunks as well as roots (AVV 200201) | Max. diameter 25 cm, length up to 2 metres, cleaned of earth and other impurities - other qualities on request - |
| Bulky waste (AVV 200307) | Consisting of old furniture, mainly of wood and metal - other qualities on request - |
*Note on waste wood in category AIV: Please note that an electronic disposal certificate and consignment note are needed for the disposal of this waste wood.
