CO2 savings from recycling of packaging
A study by the Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT proves:
the use of secondary raw materials is active environmental protection!
The renowned Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT conducted a study on the calculation of CO2 emissions for ALBA Group again.
In so doing the scientists from Oberhausen in Germany determined the savings in CO2 emissions when using secondary raw materials compared to the use of primary raw materials.
The result: Interseroh Austria and ALBA Group save CO2
By their recycling activities, ALBA Group and Interseroh Austria are helping to save CO2 emissions in the amonunt of 6.2 million tons per year. These savings correspond to the one-year-average CO2 emission of a federal region of 600.000 inhabitants, for example Kärnten.
